I always enjoy returning from market to share my new discoveries. It was a particularly refreshing season full of optimism and newness. This fall we are introducing several new collections which will inspire and add a hint of freshness to any wardrobe. Three collections stand out and demonstrate the wide selection offered here at Mario’s. First there is Swiss-made Akris. It is rich in heritage and boasts over 80 years of history. As a collection it is understated, modern and elegant. Then, there is Jasmine de Milo, designed by the daughter of Harrods owner Mohamed Al Fayed. She recently debuted her collection of silk gowns, soft tailoring and sexy dresses and it’s exclusive to Mario’s in the Pacific Northwest. Finally, we have the return of the French designer, Joseph, which introduces a slim silhouette in supple cashmere and leathers. All three collections are winners for any wardrobe.

Delightfully, many of our favorite designers have adopted a more price-conscious sensibility. You will see this impact in our stores. We have expanded our contemporary base and are focusing on introducing collections that you can’t find elsewhere. Of course, we have so many favorite designers that we are fortunate to carry season after season, and we’re thrilled to strengthen their presence. We hope you enjoy what’s in store this season.
